BRING: Your hangover, traction, drugs, coffee, advil, wizard sticks, a thirst for beer and shiggy.
NOTE: dogs are not highly recommended due to the steepness of some parts of trail. Ditto with non-furry children. Traction might be a good idea. There was some pretty gnarly ice when I scouted.
